Junior Team of the Year – Basingstoke and North Hants Cricket Club
FOR the second year running, Basingstoke and North Hants Cricket Club celebrated victory in the junior team category.
This time around, it was the club's under-15s who swept everyone aside after a brilliant year that saw them finish fifth in the ECB National Club Cricket competition out of 1,704 teams.
The young cricketers also won the Hampshire Cup and the North Hampshire division A title.
Team coach Graeme Hughes, who was delighted to pick up the award, said: "I am very surprised, but it was a great year for the club and this just finishes it off nicely."
