AFC ALDERMASTON "A" 1 HOOK 3.

It took Hook 15 minutes to go a goal up and it came from their best move of the match. Phil Haigh from the back found Andy Parker, he played on for Jon Noakes who after a speedy run crossed for Parker to side foot past the keeper. Hook scored their second in the 35th when again Parker was involved, he found Pete Silvester who then cleverly beat both the centre back and the keeper. Although Aldermaston had plenty of the ball they had no clear cut chances while Hook could have increased their lead had Noakes, Silvester been more fortunate with their finishing. The introduction of Tim Hearson in the 73rd minute brought about the third goal. A long clearance by Martin Watts was headed on by Lawrence Wright to Hearson who ran through and beat the keeper. It was five minutes from time when Vincent Kennedy was allowed too much room and ran through to net the lone Aldermaston goal.

TADLEY CALLEVA RESERVES 6 OAKLEY ATHLETIC 2.

It was a slow start for Tadley and they found themselves trailing by two goals after 25 minutes. Matty Grigg scored the first on a break and then on the 25th more poor marking allowed Alex Smale to score the second for the visitors. It came from a penalty awarded in the 35th minute after Olly Chapman was brought down, Dave Howard scored from the spot this put Tadley back in the game. On came Steve Aldridge for the injured Keith Tucker and after dominating the second half play Tadley equalized in the 55th minute through Kye Theodore and then in the 65th they drew level through Ashley Jones who scored with a 25 yard shot. In the 70th a cross from Doyne was not dealt with and Anthony Smith made it 4-2. Theodore then received a pass from Smith to make it five and finally Steve Aldridge, returning to the team after illness, picked up a pass from Howard to net the sixth.

WINTERTHUR 0 RANGERS 3.

Dan Trump took charge of the Rangers team this week and he was mighty pleased with the three points after their team failed against FC Censo the previous week. A disappointed Winterthur boss Wayne Barlow said after this poor performance, we were never at the races and it was like men against boys at times. There were four penalties given in this game, but only two converted and it was Keith Davies who opened the scoring from a spot kick after Lee Frost put Davies through after he was upended by Gary Dempster. The second was for handball, a debatable decision felt Winterthur, however this time Stuart Jarvis took the kick and made it 2-0. The next penalty came in the 43rd minute half went to Winterthur after Matt Aslett handled on the line. He was sent off, but Dave Oliver in the Rangers goal saved the kick taken by Mark French. Even with ten men Rangers had control and Dan Trump sent Davies away from the half way line and one on one with the keeper made it 3-0. The home side had another chance to get a goal back in the 70th minute when Lee Head committed a foul and this time Luke Charlton failed to beat Oliver.

R & B SPORTS 2 FC CENSO 1.

The Champions fell behind in the 15th minute when Sean Searle took a long throw and Matt Bennett out jumped Paul Crowe to head past Tim Hyde. R & B drew level on 35 minutes when another long throw this time from James Hemmings, had keeper Warren Hopkins flapping to clear the ball, it fell to Tom Button, who had just replaced the injured Colin Davis, to head home the equalizer. It was tight game with both sides looking capable of scoring the decider. For R & B Matt Button missed in a one on one with Hopkins and there were strong claims for a penalty when the R & B striker went down in the box. For Censo James Arris should have done better with his two opportunities and then his side paid in the 64th minute when Matt Button beat his man and his deep cross brought a bullet diving header from Simon Neller, although there were claims for handball by the Censo camp.
