Premier Division BRAMLEY UNITED 5 AFC ALDERMASTON "A" 0: Bramley are off the mark after taking maximum points from visitors Aldermaston who are still without a win in three starts. The first half was goalless although Dave Chillcott hit the post for United and they had strong claims for a penalty turned down. They broke the deadlock in the 54th minute when Dean Ridgers battled well for possession and went on to chip the keeper. Two minutes later Phil Mark, their regular keeper, who was playing on the field, slammed a shot again Ramsay Lewis and it ended up in the net for the second. There were more problems for Aldermaston when Richard Doe was sent off in the 58h minute. Bramley took advantage of playing against ten men and a header from Ridgers was half cleared off the line, it fell to Steve Danton who headed them 3-0 in front. Aldermaston then went down to nine men when Michael Abbott received a red card and then a diving header from Les Wood made it 4-0. In the last minute Matt Harris found Lewis and his fine headed pass gave Colin Bell his chance to net the fifth.

Premier Division OAKLEY ATHLETIC 2 RANGERS 1. This result was a set back to Andy McCoombs hopes of winning the Runners Up Shield this season although they are still in the box seat with three matches left to play. There are no easy games in this tight division as they found at Newfound and it took 71 minutes for them to take the lead, although Keith Davies might have done better with his two chances for them earlier. The goal then came from a penalty kick. Dan Trump was going through was floored by Tom Clayson and Stuart Jarvis beat John Cleary who is playing in the Oakley goal at present. In the 82nd minute a free kick came over from Paul Harrison and sub Lee Martyn was unmarked at the back post to head the equaliser. This looked to be the final result with three minutes of added time gone. Oakley had other ideas and a long kick from Cleary was flicked on by Andy Miller, through came the pass to Matt Hunkin who rounded Mark Oram and then beat the keeper for the dramatic winner.
