Fun run set to end in ruin
A FUN run, which takes people around historic Roman ruins, is being held this weekend.
The Silchester Fun Run - with two-mile and five-mile off-road options - is kicking off at 11am, on Saturday, from the playing field opposite Silchester Village Hall.
Registration is at The Calleva Arms from 9.30am on the day or forms are available on the website, at www. silchester.org
The event costs £7 for adults, £4 for children and £12 for families of four.
All money raised will go towards future Silchester Association events.
