Top stylist is special guest at hair show

| Guy Kremer |
BASINGSTOKE College of Technology will hold its annual Hair, Holistic and Beauty Therapy Competition at The Anvil, Basingstoke, on Thursday.
Special guest this year will be the internationally acclaimed hairdresser Guy Kremer.
Guy is one of the most outstanding hairdressers in the industry, known for his creativity and diversity.
At 6.25pm, he will give a demonstration of his unique skills, offering the audience a fresh insight into what is happening on the international hairdressing scene.
Guy is recognised worldwide for his educational skills. His cutting, barbering and long-hair techniques are much sought after because he has the uncanny knack of being able to combine the classic with the funky, to give styles that transform the very fabric of hair.
Leading UK companies regularly book him for seminars throughout the world.
As much as Guy loves the glitz and the glamour of the international jet-set, he also continues to enjoy working at his salon in Winchester.
Thursday's competition starts at 1pm, with 13 categories running throughout the afternoon and early evening. These include fashionable day style, evening style, gents cut and finish, fantasy make-up nail art competition and holistic Indian head massage.
Members of the public are welcome to drop in at any time to see the students at work.
Tickets are available from The Anvil box office, priced £4 each.
