A NEW appointment at Tenon is helping to boost the company's ambitious growth plans.
The firm of accountants and business advisers, based at Clifton House, in Bunnian Place, Basingstoke, has announced that Matthew Quinn is to be head of business development and sales training in its financial services division - Tenon Financial Services (TFS).
Mr Quinn joins the firm from Scottish Widows, where he led the IFA sales development and training programmes and managed the development of the internal sales force.
He has also worked as a management consultant for an international training and consultancy company - designing, delivering and evaluating development programmes for clients in the oil, financial, media, technology and entertainment industries.
Mr Quinn will now be responsible for designing and enhancing business development and sales training initiatives within TFS - the third fastest-growing financial advisers in the UK, with a £15million turnover.
He said: "Tenon has grown significantly over the past couple of years and I'm excited to have joined such an entrepreneurial firm.
"It's a challenging environment in which to work and I am looking forward to helping TFS meet its objectives."
Commenting on the appointment, Peter O'Sullivan, national head of TFS, based in Basingstoke, said: "Tenon is very clear as to its position in working with the fast-growth entrepreneurial sector, whether that be with individuals, groups of individuals or companies.
"Our business has some ambitious growth plans for this sector and we're delighted to have Matthew on board to help us drive those plans forward."
