Fire near Wickham
MORE than 30 firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict property in Mislingford, near Wickham in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, July 24).
They were called at 2.09am to the fire, which had spread across the whole 10m by 15m building in Bishopswood Road.
Fire engines from Bishop's Waltham, Wickham, Droxford and Botley attended, as well as a special equipment unit from Cosham and water carriers from Eastleigh and Fareham.
The whole of the two-storey building was destroyed by fire.
Approximately 35 firefighters dealt with the blaze, using a water shuttle, jets and ground monitors. Four fire officers also attended.
