Charity store record
SHAW Trust's Tidworth charity store has only been open for a few months, but it's already a record breaker. "We're getting more donations here than some of our other stores put together," said delighted Shaw Trust operations manager Lynda Howe.
The national charity, which helps people achieve work and independence, can usually count on many donated bags a month from well established branches.
But Tidworth notched up an astonishing 400 bags last month alone. "It is extraordinary," said manager Shelley Witt.
