PUPILS at Anton Infant School had a dream come true when they marked the harvesting of their new garden area after receiving a £500 donation from The Stannah Group.

Earlier in the year the pupils wrote heartfelt letters to local businesses explaining their dream of creating their own garden within the school grounds.

The Stannah Group donated the money which was spent on gloves, wellies, tools, compose and hundreds of seeds to enable the year two class to learn all about growing their own food and flowers.

Jon Stannah, managing director of Stannah Lift Ser-vices, was on hand to cut the ribbon.
