| Making friends: Primary school pupils from Wallop and Wherwell take part in a dance workshop on the theme of Friendship at Test Valley School in Stockbridge. Later in the day they gave a performance. |
PUPILS from a number of primary schools attended a dance festival at Test Valley School in Stockbridge for a day of dance activities preparing for a concert.
Over 200 pupils from seven schools visited the school on one of three days to work with the Gremlin Dance Company on routines based on the theme of friendship.
After a day of rehearsing they performed their routines in front of the rest of the group and the Mayor and Mayoress of Test Valley Cllr Brian and Mrs Page. The annual event was organised by Test Valley School year 10 pupils known as sports leaders who made up the Dance Festival Management Team.
They also arranged for prizes and awards to be handed out for enthusiasm as well as certificates for all young pupils taking part.
The schools involved included Wherwell Primary, Wallop Primary, Stockbridge Prim-ary, King's Somborne CE Primary and Broughton Primary.
