New Senior Screen season at ODEON Basingstoke
THIS spring, ODEON Basingstoke is set to show a season of award winning films as part of its popular Senior Screen programme for mature Basingstoke film fans.
Over-50s are invited to attend the RIAS Senior Screen award winning film season at their local cinema where they will be treated to a special collection of top-rated films during April and May.
Critically acclaimed titles to be screened at the local cinema during the season include Best Original Screenplay Oscar winner Juno, Oscar-winning Sweeney Todd starring Johnny Depp, The Bucket List starring Jack Nicholson, and No Country for Old Men, which scooped four Oscars at this year's ceremony, including Best Director and Best Film.
Tickets for all of the films will be available at the discounted Senior Screen rate available to anyone over the age of 50. Information leaflets on the entire seasonal programme will be available at ODEON Basingstoke. As regular Senior Screen filmgoers will know, tickets cost just £3 and there will also be free tea, coffee and biscuits available in the foyer before each film begins.
ODEON Basingstoke's manager Katey Walker said: "The Senior Screen events have been a huge success since they launched at our cinema in October 2006.
"We are always looking for new ways to cater to our discerning over 50s guests and the award winning film season will provide our audience with a flavour of some of the best films to grace the silver screen in the last 12 months."
