The Army

LET US PAY YOU TO TRAIN YOU!
The British Army offers approximately 140 different trades covering areas such as engineering, logistics, intelligence, IT and communications, medical HR and finance, music and ceremonial.

When joining the Army you will get paid for getting accredited civilian qualifications.

From September 2008 onwards we have a further education bursary that will be able to assist you with your funding through college (£2000) with a guaranteed job on completion. For further details please contact us on the details below.

Entry into the Army Foundation College is open to 16-year-old school leavers. This gives young people the great opportunity of going through the entry process while still in school and going into their exams knowing that they already have a secured job when they leave.

Senior entry is open to people from the age of 17 years and one month, up to 33 years of age.

Benefits of the British Army are an interesting and diverse career, a guaranteed pension, good pay, free medical and dental treatment, travel, sport in abundance and a close knit group of new and reliable friends to mention but a few.

The Army Careers Office personnel will be at the Basingstoke Job and Careers Fair on 22nd April at The Anvil. Alternatively you can contact your nearest Careers office or go onto www.armyjobs.mod.uk.
